Standard motors work well for standard applications. But there are plenty of situations where the job calls for something that does not come off the shelf. A non-standard mounting configuration, an unusual shaft dimension, a specific insulation class, or a speed and torque combination that existing catalogue products cannot deliver. That is where CR Motors' customized motors capability comes in.
As customized motors manufacturers, we work directly with OEMs, project engineers, and procurement teams to design and build motors around what the application actually needs. Frame dimensions, output shaft length, IP protection level, winding configuration, voltage rating, flange design: all of these are areas we can work with.
The process starts with a proper application discussion. We would like to understand how the motor will be used, what the environment is in which it will be used, what the duty cycle is, and if there are any constraints related to space or weight. From there, our design team will create a specification, create drawings for approval by the client, and then proceed to production.
CR Motors has supplied customized motors to clients in textile, food processing, construction, and material handling, among other sectors. Because we manufacture in-house, quality control runs from the first component to the finished product.
