CR Motors manufactures 3 phase brake motors that combine a squirrel cage induction motor with an integrated electromagnetic brake for fast, accurate stopping when it matters most.

Our DC brake motor packages come equipped with a spring-loaded electromagnetic brake that automatically engages when power is removed from the motor. The holding torque is steady, the reaction time is fast, and the brake adjustment enables the torque and reaction time to be set according to the application requirement.
The electric motor brake is housed within the same unit as the motor body, keeping the installation compact and clean. Foot-mounted and flange-mounted options are available, with aluminium and cast iron frames to suit different environmental and load conditions.
